Gosh...guess what? leechie was at Suntec Bookfest today n i pop by Jim Rogers's talk...i have been wanting to meet him for a loooooooooooong time...but i keep missing out on his talks...i rem once i went to his talk at suntec rather late n the entire place was v.packed with ppl...it was so crowded that i could only hear his voice but couldn't see him at all =.=" btw, i have a fren working at cnbc whom i have been bugging to bring leechie into the studio to catch Jim Rogers in action...but i havent been able to meet him...until today!
Leechie went up the stage to get his autograph...n guess what? he kissed my hand n posed for pics with me n passed me his namecard! gosh...leechie feels so honored n flattered!!! =D n he's really friendly! =)

I have kevin lao shi's makeup books from his previous trip here...so i bot the English version of these makeup books...was really glad tt the english version was produced cos leechie cant read too muchie chinese o.O" got his autograph too =) Picked up several useful makeup tips from dear kevin lao shi's demo session...he has a great sense of humor ;p my leechie mum heard me raving abt dear kevin lao shi n she wanted to go see him too...she wanna see for herself how special kevin lao shi is...but she was busy with stuff n couldnt go...n it was really a pity tt i could only stay for his Sat talk cos leechie had to attend to other stuff on sun nite...cos the sun topic was on how to make the face appear smaller with the clever use of makeup o.O

Attended the private soft launch opening of "A Curious Teepee" at *Scape...pretty nice food n interesting cocktails there...it was really crowded with lotsa arty ppl o.O they have a v.interesting concept...whereby one can find all kinds of arty stuff there...all stuff whimsical...as well as a bar/cafe to chill =)
Leechie tried practically all the signature cocktails there...had abt 10 cocktails, including some exotic ones such as cucumber martini, strawberry martini, A Curious Teepee Concoction, expresso martini, sea salt magarita, elderflower cocktail o.O" leechie fav was the strawberry martini...sweet n nice =) took abit of the expresso martini from Harn's glass...found it abit too strong for my liking (it kept me up the entire nite -.-") but quite a number of ppl there told me tt they like it tt way...so i guess it's supposed to b strong o.O" the sea salt margarita was really interesting...the bar mgr told me tt the foam on the magarita will stay on n will not subside...true enough, the foam stayed there even after i finished my drink! but the drink was quite salty...think it tasted quite strongly of tequila o.O A Curious Teepee concoction is sweet with passion fruit...nice...but there seems to be too muchie crushed ice in it o.O" cucumber martini is quite refreshing n slightly bitter...think the elderflower cocktail had vodka n grapefruit juice in it o.O
Leechie likes the desserts served...had several servings of the apple thingy with vanilla ice-cream...although it tasted abit like creme brulee ;p they also served us the delicious duck meat in small waffle cones...which Harn likes alot =)
I also tried this red wine popsicle ice-cream bar...quite cool...my first time trying out an alcoholic ice-cream on a stick...lol ;p Harn chose the chocolate coconut one which she likes v.muchie o.O
Guess what? i actually met the media guy who sold me jimmy choo mirror at zouk flea mkt couple of years ago...lol...see tt leechie uses atas mirrors ya? ;p harn was giving me advice...telling me to date atas guys n not cheapo guys o.O btw, leechie is allergic to cheapo guys! -.-" btw, the lovely Tracy Phillips was at our table...she always looks so elegant n classy =) there were a few ppl from mediacorp there as well...
Btw, i was greeted by this pink parrot at the door when i arrived...n i couldnt resist not disturbing this parrot before i left...so i went to stroke the parrot...this caught it unaware...my leechie mum was asking if this parrot made any noise while i did tt...well, i guess it's a well-trained parrot with pretty good manners...it didnt make any noise at all...lol ;p

Was sent a voucher for a complimentary head scalp spa at Creme The Hair Spa worth $118 for my leechie bday =) this was my first hair spa session...the session was really v.relaxing...i sat on the massage chair....n dozed off...lol...ampoule for hair loss was applied to my scalp n the therapist massaged my scalp...she was really v.attentive...even helped me put on the bedroom slippers (which was totally unexpected)...i had soothing blackcurrant tea there...thumbs up for the excellent service =) i noticed tt another Japanese lady was there during my session...i was rather surprised cos when given a choice, most Japanese would prefer to go to a Japanese salon rather than a non-Japanese one...so this should say something about the level of service there...found out tt a few local ladies mags did reviews for their services too o.O for those of u who r interested to visit them, they will be moving over to Central at Clarke Quay after Xmas...they have some special promos going on too =)

Happened to pass by Gucci...not sure if i'm being recognized or what...but walked right into Gucci's The Bamboo Bag event at Paragon...the marketing mgr showed us around n introduced the various bags on exhibition...was served champagne with finger food...not tt i mind the champagne served...lol ;p thinking if my uncle-ish frenz were to see this, bet they will poke fun of a leechie n associate Gucci with leechie again =.=" but i gotta say tt Gucci didnt pay leechie any endorsement fees =.="

Was out the entire day...went HQ for seminar...then pop by Anteprima Sale n bought a gold bag n black organizer...then had red wine at Skin Inc Anniversary party...then went to company movie event...dozed off during the Rapunzel 3D movie...my 1st 3D movie...then went Yello Jello Anniversary party...walked so muchie today tt i'm dead dead tired manz! -.-" n again, i have frenz poking fun of leechie's supposedly "tai-tai" lifestyle =.=" was so tired tt it was already 2pm when i woke up the next day manz...damn tired manz...was supposed to attend seminar...but ended up shopping instead ;p bot so muchie stuff at Triumph Sales n at the Megaflea at expo...lol ;p
Leechie was waiting for transport by the roadside after fengshui class yest...when this car stopped at the opposite side n its owner got out n crossed over to my side of the road n asked if i was waiting for cab...he left after i replied "no"... nice samaritans r not tt common here...but i wouldnt dare to take a ride from a stranger... new pickup line -> "r u waiting for cab?" lol ;p when i first saw him walking over, i initially thot tt he's coming over to ask for directions...n i dont even know the place well...lol ;p i guess he's trying to b a good samaritan...but it's not really a common practice here to offer/accept rides from strangers o.O"
Something to share with everyone here ---> Someone sent me extremely rude emails...let a barking madman barks all he wants...guess he's facing some personal crisis in his professional & personal life...let's exercise our greatest patience & sympathy...no wanna bring myself down to his level...he's juz a mere acquaintance, wont b surprised if nobody wanna befriend such a pathetic soul...since there r slashing cases here...it wont do our safety any harm to let ppl with questionable frame of mind win some silly arguments ya? ;p which is y i always say...letting others win silly argument aint a sign of weakness...but it certainly tells u something abt these ppl...a person's behavior can tell u lotsa abt tt person's upbringing n class (or rather the lack of it) ;p
Can u believe it? leechie kenna bullied yet again today :'( there r juz some totally unreasonable ppl not in the right frame of mind who goes around picking on ppl n spreading untruthful rumors :'( he created a scene n then he continued nagging on n on n spreading untruthful rumors n badmouthing me at my fren's table until she got so pissed off n told him to shut up otherwise she's going to call for security! tt shut him up...but he went over to other tables n continued his nonsense!!! :'( wanna thank the 2 kind souls who came to my side to try to help me...anyway, anyone with eyes could tell what kind of person he is judging by his action n behavior! :'( n this is not the first time tt he is doing this!!! -.-" my leechie mum was asking me y am i so affected when most of us already know his character n how he likes to spread untruthful rumors n badmouth me in front of ppl, esp when it's not the first time tt he's doing this!!! -.-" i believe there is such a thing called retribution...n with his character, i wouldn't be surprised if no lady in this world would fancy him even if all the men r dead!!! On a happier note, pop by Prestige sales n bot lotsa Paul&Joe spring/summer and fall 2010 range of cosmetics, including pressed powder n limited edition bronzing pressed powder n sahara lipstick n the cutie cat head lipstick n lotsa eyeshadows n nail polishes (all 2010 n 2009 stocks) ;p in terms of the products, this is the newest ranges tt i managed to get at prestige sales...so leechie is a happy kid...wanna thx the v.nice n helpful mgr there too =) i stayed only half an hour there n spent abt $200 =) feel tt it's much better value for money than the $100+ tt i spent at Kose sales o.O"

Gosh...prices at MIU MIU n PRADA have increased yet...esp for nappa leather range =( bot a MIU MIU pink nappa cloquet clutch today at $574 (after 30% off)...ouchie...cos yest the original price they told me was $640...apparently, the staff forgot to update the new price to $820...i like it v.muchie but the price increase of almost 30% is abit crazy =.=" so the 30% off discount doesnt do much after the price increment -.-" my leechie mum was making noise tt i paid $574 for such a small wristlet when i could buy a BIG bag with this price =.=" also bot a GUCCI mobile phone strap at 30% off too o.O

Leechie had a blast at Johnnie Walker Jet Black private event at The White Rabbit...it was a great party with many beautiful people n lotsa alcohol...we had 2 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label ;p Well, leechie was the waitress at our table...had plenty of fun pouring drinks...lol ;p well, some of my frenz looked pretty drunk by the end of the nite ;p a fren even placed his glass of johnnie walker on my head...doubt he even rems doing tt...lol o.O"

This was the first time tt leechie has modelled for Wella hair coloring workshop =) had my leechie hair colored dark purplish red (wine color) after consultation n analysis were done by the Wella experts who flew in from Europe!
They have this really cool machine there manz...the experts placed a probe to scan n analyze various sections of my leechie hair...well, if u have seen leechie in person or my pics before...u would know tt my leechie hair color was really far from being homogeneous...the lower section of my leechie hair turned v.yellow since the last color job...the mid section looked brown (cos i did a roots retouch earlier in the year)...n my roots looked dark brown...the salons tt i went to previously tried to cover my leechie hair with a darker color to try to make my hair color look more uniform from the roots to the ends...but gosh, my hair color always turned out v.patchy...darker near the roots n much lighter nearer the ends =.=" the experts printed out a "recipe" from the machine on the prescribed method to color my leechie hair. the color tt was prescribed was a dark reddish brown o.O
The lady color technician who did my hair color worked as an instructor at a hairdressing school prior to joining Wella n she's been working here at Wella for almost 15 years ler...so she's v.experienced! i like her hair color...ash brown with copper shades...v.nicely done =) she followed the prescribed "recipe" to color my leechie hair...both her n the senior male staff who did the analysis thot tt i have permed hair...so they were v.surprised when i told them tt i have natural curls ;p
They trimmed strands of my leechie hair before n after coloring...the experts checked on my hair after coloring...n tried to match the color to the color samples on the color chart...my hair near the roots looks dark red...then the color on the lower section looks slightly different...the color nearer the ends looks purplish red...the conclusion tt they drew was tt using the machine n following the prescribed method is better than the usual conventional way of hair coloring =)
I was asked if i like my new hair color...so i answered candidly tt i haven't tried such a dark color before...so it's something v.new to me =) this is the first time tt i've tried such a dark n striking hair color...my leechie mum used to joke tt she could see me easily in the crowd cos of my light hair color...lol ;p this wine color looks v.rich n certainly makes my leechie hair look more healthy...n i'm v.happy tt my hair color looks uniform from the roots to the ends now! =) i dont need to put up with much darker roots n lighter hair ends anymore!yay ;p this wine color suits my skintone too...i'm already v.fair but it seems to make me look even fairer n accentuates my naturally rosy cheeks =) i received quite a few compliments on my new hair color...some frenz even said tt this hair color makes leechie look younger...which cant b a bad thing ya ;p
Btw, my fb frenz were debating n joking abt what color i shld color my hair prior to this workshop...some of the suggestions were yellow, orange, blue, red, purple, gold, black, reddish brown...n even rainbow n white!!! lol ;p btw, my fren colored her hair rainbow colors previously when she brought in a korean hair color brand n did it to promote the colors...quite cool...tt was when i got to know her abt 10yrs ago...lol ;p my natural hair color has a v.strong yellow undertone n whatever color tt i did previously turned yellowish after a few washes...i tried various shades of browns n blondes...i thot tt ash brown is cool but it didnt last too...i also tried bleached streaks n the stylist put on blue dyes n it looked green...but tt too only lasted a week...copper color lasts on me...n red is the worst...it turned yellowish after only 3 washes...n i wash my hair everyday manz =.=" i havent tried purple before...n WHITE is a color tt i'll never try...so for those who suggested white, i give them moral support to dye their hair white! Really hope tt this wine color will last longer on a leechie o.O
Btw, leechie had a blast at Johnnie Walker private event...opened 2 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black Label =) i'm the waitress of the nite...really enjoyed pouring drinks...well, my frenz look drunk ;p thx Johnnie Walker for the memorable bday celebration this year =) took lotsa pics...photos r still in my fren's cam...so stay tuned for the pics ya ;p
Update: It has been more than a week since my hair coloring job n i'm pleasantly surprised tt my leechie hair color still looks wine...pretty good ya =)
Leechie is a blur kid...i actually walked into my fren's shop n bot stuff there without realizing tt it's her shop...until i went ovr to her other shop n her staff told me abt it...i actually saw her mum with a small boy n thot tt they looked familiar...but i told myself tt many aunties look alike...until i found out tt it's really her mum n the small boy is her son...blur leechie =.="
Leechie is a blur kid these few days...i keep getting my dates wrong -.-" thot tt loreal sales starts on 15 dec instead of 15 nov n thot tt tangs sale was supposed to b thurs instead of tue...forgot abt stereolab anniversary party too...so i missed out on alot stuff! the tangs shu staff sold off the item tt they had reserved for me -.-" only managed to go down to loreal sales n tangs today...bot mascaras n eyeliner n lotsa shampoos...the keratase mgr was v.nice n patient n redken staff were v.nice too =)
Btw, happened to pass by Gucci juz nw...not sure if i'm being recognized or what...but walked right into the Gucci Bamboo Bag Exhibition event...not tt i mind the champagne served...lol ;p thinking if my uncle-ish frenz were to see this, bet they will associate Gucci with leechie again =.=" but i gotta say tt Gucci didnt pay leechie any endorsement fees =.="
Was out the entire day...went HQ for seminar...then pop by Anteprima Sale n bought a gold bag n black organizer...then had red wine at Skin Inc Anniversary party...then went to company movie event...dozed off during the Rapunzel 3D movie...my 1st 3D movie...then went Yello Jello Anniversary party...walked so muchie today tt i'm dead dead tired manz! -.-" then so tired tt it was already 2pm when i woke up the next day...damn tired manz...was supposed to attend seminar...but ended up shopping instead ;p
